quick vintage chair update

Update: Since this original post, I've recovered four of these chairs again in a gray wool, plus two in a gray modern pattern. See below for how-to's on recovering.

rosewood mid century chairs recovered


I was recently lucky enough to find a set of six vintage rosewood dining chairs of Danish design. I adore these chairs, but of course the seats needed to be recovered. 


These chairs are the finishing touch to my little dining room (check back tomorrow for the reveal) and I wanted to find a modern but not too flashy fabric in navy. 


I found this plaid for 60% off, so it cost me a total of $12 to cover all six chairs. Easy-peesy to do with a staple gun (my favourite tool) - it took only an hour! 



Now if only a personal makeover was that easy.
