Stripes are not a new trend in design, but they're really hot right now and being used in contemporary and interesting ways. Stripes can fill a space with drama and energy, elegance, or casual fun. It's a trend I just may try. Here are some modern takes on stripes.

I'm partial to striped rugs, but I'm not sure if I'm bold enough (yet) to do a striped wall, though the pictures of them are great.
