I'm always changing up the artwork and photos in my home, but I don't have the funds to purchase "real art." So I try to put things on the walls that have meaning and give the space personality, like my own photos and simple artwork. I've recently experimented with watercolour, and it is a really pretty and fairly easy way to add some colour to your home.
If I can do it, so can you. Start here for the basics on what you need and how to get started. Then peruse Pinterest for images you like and make your own versions. I've pinned some lovely work, and I'm aspiring to this geode art next. Gulp.
